In today's post Benita @ Chez Larsson asked everyone to share a picture or post of the EXPEDIT shelving units in their home. You can find ours in Sam's room.
Considering that our home plays a substantial role in this blog I haven't really shared that many pictures of it. Mainly because I find it really hard to shoot interiors (and gardens). It took about 20 shots to get this one (thank goodness for the digital age). The angles always seem weird and it is just plain frustrating. I am hoping to improve and start sharing some more.
Go on over to Benita's to share your pictures and while you are at it link to them in the comments here too.

This is really cute! I like all the red. I agree on the interiors pictures. We have dark ceilings which are not helping my cause. My camera is also not so great in low light situations. I almost always end up brightening every photo in Photoshop!
ReplyDeleteI struggle with the weird angles too. It looks fine while I'm shooting it then everything goes 'sideways'. Your shot here turned out great, it looks like a page out of a magazine!
ReplyDeleteThese shelves are fab for kids rooms - I am working on my nephews room just now and guess what storage we are going for! I love the lego, did you know you can get storage boxes shaped like lego blocks?
ReplyDeleteSo cute.....I love those circles on the wall too!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Might have to get another Expedit for my twin's room. What an inspriring photo!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Expedit post:

ReplyDelete@ Amy - Yes, I have seen those in Blogland. In fact at So'isses (comment #6).
What a great room! Did you do the stencilling on the walls yourself? You're not the only one who struggles to take good pictures by the way.
ReplyDelete@lavalotti - Thanks! The circles are from a set of wall stickers. I did change one of the colors with spray paint. The circles that are red were originally purple. I used the same spray paint on some frames in which I had put some of Sam's artwork. The purple just had to go.
