Emma

Our cat Emma took very ill last week and on Thursday she died. We are heartbroken and she is deeply missed.

To me she will always be 9. ♥

Oh no, I'm so sorry for your loss! I know how special pets can be, especially ones that have endured the long-haul (and long-distance moves). My parents still have 2 of our 3 cats and we all just go to pieces whenever one of them gets ill or acts strangely. Ugh, so sorry. =(

  4. Kitties have a way of never really being gone, the next time something 'jumps' off the kitchen counters know that Emma is still with you being her kitty self.

  5. Monica: I've been meaning to write here: I'm so sorry about Emma. Oh, it is so hard when a pet dies. Our entire house went into mourning for weeks when our dog died... and we can't bear to get another one knowing what eventually happens, and all too soon. But they are SO loved when they are with us and make us SO happy! My best to all of you.
